    WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE  

    The Human Resources Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining employee services, labor relations, policies, procedures, and employee engagement at Bolthouse Farms. This includes coordinating all activities related to the human resource operations according to established guidelines and sound administrative processes.

    • Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
    • Serve as in-house consultant on employment policies and conflict resolution to all levels of management within the company
    • Prepare and maintain employment records related to events such as termination, leaves, transfers, etc. using established processes and protocols
    • Interpret and explain human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations
    • Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns by conducting investigations and providing recommendations for action
    • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, affirmative action guidelines, and employment laws
    • Confer with the Regional Human Resource Manager to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
    • Administrative duties and recordkeeping
    • Perform other special projects as assigned
    • Other duties as assigned

      

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR  

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • High school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 3 plus years of experience in a Generalist role
    • Proven candidate with relationship building skills
    • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
    • Effective oral and written communication skills General knowledge of various employment laws and practices Knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and Local legislation regarding personnel and labor laws
    • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
    • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Skills in database management and record keeping
    • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work

      

    ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • Must be punctual, with an excellent attendance record 
    • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
    • Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
    • Must be able to apply common sense, understand and carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form
    • Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions
    • Must be able to cooperate with others
