    WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE  

    The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that facilitate professional development and continuous learning of employees across the organization..

    • Analyze learning needs to develop new learning programs or modify and improve existing programs
    • Implementation and maintenance of training software and programs 
    • Responsible for the development and delivery of training curriculum
    • Maintain and communicate a curriculum development road map to internal stakeholders
    • Partner with subject matter experts across the organization for training content
    • Strategically evaluate the various publishing channels and mediums available for content distribution (e.g. in-person, help center, webinars, blogs, support community, videos) and establish a clear philosophy for leveraging those avenues most effectively for content distribution
    • Evaluate and improve program effectiveness through defined KPIs, testing and user feedback 
    • Arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for both salaried and hourly workforce
    • Oversee training team to lead specialized training/certifications across skilled roles
    • Conduct needs analysis studies and confer with managers and supervisors to determine learning needs based on projected competencies, organizational changes, and other external factors
    • Develop testing and evaluation procedures
    • Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of learning programs, and provide recommendations for improvement
    • Research and select outside consultants and trainers to conduct training on specific topics if needed
    • Perform other special projects as assigned

      

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR  

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of directly related experience in an organizational development role
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training software platforms

    ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • Ability to design training programs from the ground up
    • Experience with course authoring and content delivery tools and usage-tracking systems
    • Extensive knowledge using and applying development tools
    • Strong leadership skills with hands-on experience as an individual contributor
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with cross-functional teams while being flexible and responsive to dynamic situations and changing priorities
    • Highly self-motivated and able to work and make decisions independently

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • PHR, SPHR OR CHPR certification is preferred
