    Role Summary:

    Wolfe is growing, and we are seeking an experienced and driven Vice President, Finance to help us scale and change the rewards and gift card industry.

    Our Vice President, Finance will be responsible for the finance, treasury, accounting and control and financial planning and analysis functions within Wolfe, LLC. This role is responsible for defining and implementing the infrastructure/systems needed to support substantial growth in the years to come. As a member of our senior team, you will be involved with strategic planning, evaluation, and professional development initiatives. This position will report directly to the Chief Operating and Financial Officer.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the annual operating plan development and capital allocation decisions based on a detailed understanding of value drivers of the business.
    • Assist the Executive teams and business unit teams to develop and implement financial plans and ensure timely and accurate measurement of performance those plans.
    • Responsible for managing the accounting and control department, including ensuring accurate and timely monthly closes, development on monthly management performance reports for the Company and Board of Directors, its strategic business units and shared services functions.
    • Lead financial and accounting activities ensuring a healthy operating rhythm (development of strategic planning, annual operating plans, ongoing forecasting, Board, management, business unit and external reporting, financial analysis and overall business decision support).
    • Identify opportunities to improve cash flow, strengthen balance sheet, cost containment, asset allocations.
    • Improve treasury and cash management activities, maximizing opportunities increase interest income for the Company.
    • Drive deeper analysis and support of a variety of business decisions through thoughtful and comprehensive economic and post-mortem analysis.
    • Strong underpinning in regression analysis to drive better economic analysis.
    • Complete the development of near real time P&Ls for the Company's business units and reporting entities.
    • Prepare external consolidated financial statements and footnotes in accordance with US GAAP and work with external auditors to ensure timely completion of public company quality financial statements.
    • Experience in and manage enhancements to the Company's financial systems, including the implementation of an ERP system during 2024.
    • Work with tax accountants to ensure timely and accurate filings as required.
    • Ensure best in class practices around compliance and revenue recognition, including an operational foundation to support significant growth.
    • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and appropriate compliance with applicable and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting, surface potential risk areas and drive mitigation. Prepare the Company to be SOX and public company compliant as it becomes public company ready.
    • Provide hands-on, metrics-driven financial leadership to help accelerate growth and provide the executive team with operational insight to better manage the business.
    • Continuously evaluate areas for process improvement and automation to support an efficient and scalable financial infrastructure.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions and other strategic relationships, auditors and internal colleagues.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is required.
    • MBA or CPA is preferred.
    • IPO experience preferred.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Vice President, Finance or senior financial management required.
    • Ability to work from our Pittsburgh headquarters at least four (4) days a week.
    • Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting.
    • eCommerce, fintech, and/or other tech industry experience.
    • Must be detail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
    • Comfort with technology and software solutions to manage large volumes of data and communication methods.
    • Must have excellent management, presentation, and supervisory skills.
    • Must be able to lead through influence and have the highest ethical standards.
    • Must possess qualities supporting the company values of drive, teamwork, caring and integrity.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal savvy, approachability, and business acumen.
