    PAY: $55-$60 AN HOUR

    TYPE: FULL-TIME

    DESCRIPTION:

    This position is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of assigned technology development initiatives. The Technology Program Manager will serve as the primary owner of program commitments and is responsible for defining scope, gathering requirements, ensuring stakeholder alignment, influencing the decision making process, driving internal and external development teams, determining success metrics, tracking against milestones, identifying and mitigating risks, proactively managing changes in project scope, driving program prioritization, and clearly communicating the impact of programs to project stakeholders and senior management. To ensure the successful delivery of solutions, the Technology Program Manager must be highly motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively combine strong technical and project management skills with a passion for collaboration and innovative thinking.

    TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:

    1. Direct technology development initiatives and opportunities in support of the credit union’s strategic objectives and in an effort to drive consistency between the physical and digital banking experiences.

    2. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments and third party service providers in order to drive cross-functional teams to achieve desired experiences and functionality.

    3. Demonstrate maturity, leadership and collaboration by working effectively across multiple groups, divisions and service channels in a constantly changing environment.

    4. Understand member and employee needs/behaviors, brand direction, product and enterprise strategies.

    5. Manage roadmap, development and delivery strategies for assigned channels and/or technologies.

    6. Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, security standards, and current technologies appropriate to the systems managed. Responsible for remaining up-to-date on current and emerging trends and technologies and how they can be incorporated into the overall strategy. Conduct industry, competitive, and member research to inform the organization in making decisions.

    7. Engage with business partners and members to identify opportunities and review recommended strategies.

    8. Manage and oversee staff, including providing escalation support for program initiatives.

    9. Document changes to systems in accordance with change management policies.

    10. Develop and maintain procedures to comply with internal and credit union policies and external regulations.

    11. Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position, and internet security.

    12. Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. EDUCATION: BA/BS or equivalent practical experience; MBA preferred.

    2. EXPERIENCE: Seven or more years of experience in technology and third party oversight, including roles of influence and consistent interactions with Senior Business leadership. Five years of program management or product management in a product development environment. Minimum three years of experience directly leading and supervising a development team, preferably within a financial institution.

    3. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Expertise in developing, troubleshooting, and implementing vendor software; Familiarity with the following: Strategic and financial analytics, SDLC, UX/UI, workflow automation, HTML, XHTML, XSLT, OFX, JavaScript, ASP.NET, VBScript, Visual Basic.NET, Flash, Share Point and SQL.
