Administrative Data Entry Clerk
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a detail oriented Data Entry Clerk to assist in a SharePoint migration, transferring and validating information into our database. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail.
KEY DUTIES:
*Lead and assist in data migration using SharePoint
Verify data by comparing it to source documents
Update existing data
Sort and organize information after entering data to ensure it is not lost
Maintain the department SharePoint site and other miscellaneous administrative and recordkeeping functions.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- A minimum of 1 year related experience.
- Analytical skills concerning healthcare as well as policy and advocacy work experience highly valued.
- Knowledge of the legislative process is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business processes and recommend effective solutions.
- Strong organizational/time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
- Computer skills including Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.
- Experience with both process and data-driven structured analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of Delta Dental products, policies, claims, eligibility and guidelines.
- Highly effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively and comfortably interact at all corporate and political levels.
- PC literacy required; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); proficiency in InDesign preferred.
- Regularly required to work standard office equipment (personal computer, photocopy machine, fax machine, etc.).
- Ability to work on a computer up to 7 hours a day.
- Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk.
- Regularly required to use hands to operate computer and other office equipment.
- Close vision required for computer usage.
- Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance.
- Ability to report to perform tasks in a physical work office environment.
- Ability to clearly present written information and findings.
- Must be able to understand fairly complex written and oral instructions.
- Ability to communicate legal requirements effectively.
- Ability to make executive-level and external audience presentations. Ability to interact well with co-workers and outside contacts.
