Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner/ Certified Midwife
Lovely OBGYN is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Certified Midwife to join our team at our Lawrenceville clinic. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in an OB/GYN setting and will be comfortable managing their own patient panel. This role is integral to our practice, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care within our OB/GYN services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical and administrative oversight, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
Coordinate and manage patient care within the designated service area, working closely with the physician to support the clinic's operations.
Maintain clinical competencies as required by medical staff privileges and uphold the standards of care in the OB/GYN setting.
Balance clinical duties (80-90%) with administrative responsibilities (10-20%), as determined by the clinic’s needs.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Certified Midwife program.
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Certified Midwife in the state of Georgia.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or an equivalent body, Certification as a Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
A minimum of one year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), with specific experience in Women’s Health and OB/GYN settings.
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (ACLS may be required in some areas).
