As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner , a typical day might include:

• Perform gynecologic procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon insertions, colposcopies, and cervical cancer screenings
• Conduct well-woman exams, STI testing, contraceptive counseling, postpartum care, menopause care
• Option for prenatal care but not essential

Qualifications needed:

• Active Idaho NP license
• Graduation from an accredited School
• Can be cleared through the National Practitioner Database
• Current DEA license
• Experience in women's health is required
• Strong communication skills and a warm, compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
• Travel between clinic locations is required
