Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – OB/GYN
Location: Lakeland, FL (Home Base) | Floating to Wauchula, Lakeland, Avon Park
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Status: Full-Time
Reports To: Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously, have a passion for women’s health, and possess the flexibility to rotate among multiple clinic sites. This position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and may include up to $75,000 in student loan repayment for a two-year commitment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: Up to $120,000 based on experience
- New Grad Compensation: $90,000 starting with a $5,000 Increase at 6 months
- NHSC Program: Up to $75,000 for a two-year commitment
- PSLF Eligibility: Forgiveness after 120 qualifying monthly payments
- Relocation Assistance: $1,000 (in-state) or $3,000 (out-of-state)

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited APRN
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing NP or CNM (3+ years preferred)
- Clear and active Florida APRN license (or ability to obtain before start date)
- National certification (ANCC and/or AANP)
- BLS certification
- Eligible for malpractice insurability
- Strong computer and EMR literacy
- Must be able to work independently and in a team-based setting
Responsibilities and Performance Expectations:
- Deliver comprehensive women’s health services in an outpatient setting
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions; prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Review lab, imaging, and diagnostic reports; document findings and ensure follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using SOAP note format
- Ensure proper coding and billing practices aligned with documented care
- Provide patient education and health counseling
- Facilitate appropriate referrals in coordination with nurses and referral clerks
- Precept medical students as assigned
- Participate in outreach, off-site programs, and health collaboratives
- Assist in clinical supply/equipment recommendations
- Uphold standards of universal precautions and OSHA requirements
- Participate in weekend or off-hours coverage as assigned
- Demonstrate professionalism and support within the medical team
