Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)/Physician Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, to join our established private OB/GYN practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of women's health services, working collaboratively with our team of physicians and healthcare professionals.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive women's healthcare services including well-woman examinations
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic gynecological conditions
Perform routine procedures such as IUD insertions and endometrial biopsies.
Provide prenatal care for low-risk obstetric patients in collaboration with physicians
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
Provide patient education regarding reproductive health and contraception
Document patient care in electronic health records thoroughly and accurately
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice meetings
Maintain collaborative relationships with referring physicians and healthcare providers

Board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner/Physician assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
Registered Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician's Assistant licensed to work in the State of Arizona
Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Current DEA registration
Current BLS
Proficiency in electronic health records systems
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a private practice setting
Experience with obstetric patients
Additional certifications in women's health specialties
Clinical Skills and Knowledge
Strong understanding of obstetric and gynecologic care across the lifespan
Proficiency in performing gynecologic procedures
Knowledge of current evidence-based practice guidelines
Experience with contraceptive counseling and management
Proficient in menopausal health and hormone therapy
Familiarity with adolescent gynecology
