    Job Description

    HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Physical Therapy Aide Duties:
      • Prepare patients for examination and treatment. Takes patient histories.
      • Perform ultrasound, electrical stimulation, apply hot/cold packs and other modalities as directed by physical therapist
      • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
      • Ensures clean physical therapy treatment area, maintains equipment and sanitizes patient treatment areas
      • Order and maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
      • Maintain Electronic Medical Records, files and other information.
    • Front Office Duties:
      • Welcome patients in a manner that is helpful and friendly; determine purpose of visit and direct to appropriate person or program.
      • Register new patients and update/verify existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information and eligibility status that is accurate and up-to-date.
      • Schedule patients for clinic visits; call patients to confirm; follow up with patients for missed appointments
      • Provide information to callers; transfer calls as needed; work with Health and Wellness team to ensure adequate phone coverage at all times.
      • Manage and update clinic staff outlook calendars and coordinate schedule with clinical supervisor
      • Maintain office supply inventory and equipment
      • Unlock and lock clinic rooms, cabinets, and drawers to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
    • As needed, role will provide coverage in our clinics as receptionist or referral coordinator.

    • Must speak be able to speak Spanish conversationally
    • Experience working in a medical setting
    • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
    • Open-minded, compassionate and customer-service oriented
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to excel in a team environment
