ABOUT THE ROLE
WONDERFUL CAREER PATHWAYS is an early college program that provides students at nine partner high schools throughout the Central Valley the opportunity to earn college credits that lead to certificate or degrees in Agriculture, Education, Public Health, and Industrial Automation. The Wonderful Education team partners with nine high schools, three community colleges, and The Wonderful Company’s Central Valley business units to facilitate a robust pathway program that includes college curriculum, student support services, and work-based learning opportunities.
We are seeking a full-time tutor who will provide academic support to Career Pathways students in their college courses, with a focus on STEM coursework. Our goal is that all our 1,500+ Career Pathways students pass their courses and stay on track to earn their certificate and/or degree. The tutor will provide direct support to students who need services, as well as help coordinate and refer students to additional academic support services at their high school and respective colleges.
The ideal candidate has a passion for education and the desire to create opportunities for Central Valley students. You will work tirelessly, in a fast-paced environment to help students succeed.
THIS POSITION REPORTS INTO THE SENIOR MANAGER OF CAREER PATHWAYS- ACADEMIC PROGRAMS and will require travel to provide in-person support in Delano, Wasco, Shafter, Lost Hills, Avenal, Mendota, Reedley, Fresno, and Sanger. This is a full-time, year-round position.
