THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for a full time 8-week internship. In this position, you will gain hands on professional experience and learn how the department runs.

This position is located at WONDERFUL PISTACHIOS & ALMONDS MAIN PLANT IN LOST HILLS, CA.  The schedule for this internship is 8:00AM – 4:30PM (SUBJECT TO CHANGE).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Assist Grower Relations team with client relations, networking, data entry, and other day-to-day activities
• Support planning processes for grower events and projects
• Learn and understand harvest-related logistics and other good agricultural practices

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in the Wonderful Education program
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Pursuing a degree in Ag Business or other related field preferred
• Strong networking and leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with public speaking
• Basic computer skills
• Self-directed and able to work autonomously 
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption

Pay rate: $17.00/hour
