WonderMedia is hiring recent college graduates as entry level trainers to guide students and teachers through the Story Maker production pipeline on site in school locations in the Antelope Valley. As a Story Maker trainer you will utilize the Story Maker technology package to lead students as they create unique animated content. Over the course of your on site sessions your goal will be to educate teachers and students on the Story Maker production process as a part of a 3-phase visiting artist program. During the course of these trainings you will travel to various school campuses to perform similar but unique tailored trainings with each location as well as build working relationships with administrators and teachers at each site. Prior to the first training you will be trained by the Wonder Media staff on the production process, storymaker software package and extensively trained on animation production so you can share those experiences with students.

Job Responsibilities

• Guide structured and organic learning experiences with students 4th grade - 8th grade

• Lead story based trainings in school locations across Antelope Valley

• Assist students in the completion of Story Maker 3D animation and post production

• Gather data, assess and report back on each training progress

• Attend periodic on site meetings and additional professional development at Wonder Media Studios

Requirements

• Experience working with students in groups is recommended (ie:YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Summer Camp, etc)

• Ability to communicate information to audiences of varying ages and technical skill levels

• Experience with consumer and education grade technology ( Windows, Mac , ChromeOS )

• Experience with photo/video manipulation tools like Adobe Photoshop or Premiere

• Experience in time sensitive work environments with clearly defined goals

• Experience gathering, organizing and reporting datasets

• Confident organization and decision making skills
