    TITLE: VFX Artist

    JOB DESCRIPTION: We're looking for a talented VFX Artist to help us bring the magical world of Xadia to life in our new multiplayer game based on the Emmy® Award-winning Netflix series, The Dragon Prince!

    With your artistic and technical skills, you will design and implement compelling visual effects that not only communicate essential game information, but infuse our game's environments, characters, and cosmetics with dynamic depth and a sense of wonder.

    FULL-TIME AND CONTRACT ROLES AVAILABLE.

    YOU WILL:

    • Craft stylized VFX assets for skins, environments, character abilities, and other in-game elements
    • Work closely with the Lead VFX Artist to ensure a unified look and consistent quality across the game
    • Produce engaging assets that are of the highest artistic quality and serve the game's design
    • Proactively seek feedback from your Lead, Art Director, and other teammates
    • Actively contribute to the growth of a startup studio. Lead by example, including demonstrating a willingness to give and receive feedback, collaborate with others to share techniques and ideas, and contribute to a positive working environment

    YOU ARE:

    • Collaborative and have the ability to work with a high degree of motivation
    • Communicative, both written and verbal, to enable close collaboration with your team
    • Skilled in both 2D and 3D art
    • Knowledgeable about and have a critical eye for timing, animation, and motion for games

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2+ years in 3D VFX art production
    • Expertise in Maya, Blender, or other technologies utilized in the production of game art
    • Proven track record on at least one shipped title

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience with Unreal Engine 4

    _The annual base pay range for this position in Los Angeles, California is $90,000 USD - $150,000 USD. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and overall experience. In addition to base pay, all full-time positions will receive equity, flexible PTO, unlimited sick leave, parental leave, a full range of medical, dental, and vision insurance, and relocation support as part of the overall compensation package. _
