Job Description:Warehouse crew provide fast, friendly service by loading up customers and assessing their needs to provide assistance. Our warehouse team members can aid in selling flooring, as well as performing maintenance tasks for the business. To our customers, you are the face of Wood Brothers Carpet. Your most important job is to quickly provide outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate for a Warehouse team member is a clean appearing, inquisitive, energetic individual, that has a desire to learn and help others. Our hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 and Saturday 9:00-4:00.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Provide fast and accurate service of cutting and preparing materials to be picked up by installers; loading and unloading from manufacturers as well as customers.- Continually build product knowledge to be able to answer customer questions.- Receive, check and shelve flooring. Ensure the store and warehouse is always kept clean and all products are easily accessible to customers. - Engage with all customers by loading or unloading vehicles, ensuring they leave totally satisfied. - Assist in other areas of the store as required. Job Specifications- Must be at least 18 years of age.- Must have a minimum of 6 months operating a forklift. We move pallets as well as large carpet rolls. (you will be certified under us bonus if already certified!) -Unload semi-trucks with fork lifts as well as re-load customers vehicles with flooring products. - Basic math skills to add, subtract, divide & multiply. Measuring ability. - Carpet, sheet vinyl cutting machine skills preferred (you will be additionally trained under us) - Ability to lift 50lbs /- - High school diploma or GED required. Higher education preferred. - Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.* Bonus would include flooring knowledge, manual labor, home design or construction background.
