Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships and S corporations
Coordinate tax research and planning on various tax issues
Assist with cost segregation analysis on development or acquisition assets
Assist with integration of acquisitions, related due diligence, and purchase accounting
Analyze proper tax and accounting treatment of complex issues
Assist with the management of filing deadlines and tax payment requirements for more than 300 entities
Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Accounting/Tax plus at least 2 years of experience in public accounting or industry (Licensed CPA is a plus),
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Tax plus at least 3 years of experience directly related to the above set of tax duties and responsibilities
PLUS
Experience in preparing/reviewing returns for Partnerships, Individuals, and S Corps
Excellent analytical, research, and tax project management skills including a basic knowledge of IRS codes and regulations
Experience with cost segregation and depreciation analysis
Experience with multi-state taxation
Experience in the preparation and review of real-estate returns is preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
