The Woodbury Corporation, one of the preeminent real estate companies in the Mountain West, is seeking an energetic self-starting individual to join to our team as a Construction/Entitlement Project Manager. The role will involve being responsible for all aspects of project management to achieve quality, timing, and budget. The right candidate will manage ground up retail construction, as well as tenant improvement projects for office and retail tenants. Primary Responsibilities

Possess proficiency to understand construction drawings and the ability to review plans and specifications for project coordination and accuracy;

Collaborate with in-house architectural department and review work letters/leases to ensure that tenant delivery requirements are being met;

Coordinate with municipalities and other government agencies as necessary to obtain entitlement approvals and building permits;

Verify availability and location of utilities, including power, gas, communications, sanitary sewer, water, and storm management;

Check the cost and timing involved in gaining access to these utilities as well as any development impact fees;

Prepare and evaluate bids and supervise construction projects;

Act as liaison between tenants, ownership, and contractors from design through tenant’s opening;

Create and manage project schedules;

Negotiate with contractors and provide value engineering;

Evaluate and negotiate potential change orders during construction;

Be able to identify issues on projects and determine solutions to solve any project impediments; and

Participate in design and construction progress meetings as required.

Qualifications

3-5 years of construction/project management experience;

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Architecture, or Construction Management. Experience comparable to education will also be considered;

Demonstrated communication and customer service skills required; and

PC proficiency with MS Word, and Excel is required. Experience with MS Project and some type of project management software preferred.

Salary

Base of $60,000-$70,000 depending on qualifications and experience, plus year-end bonus. Woodbury also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
