JOB SUMMARY

Assist all technicians and customers with the purchasing of parts and supplies, achieve monthly sales and gross forecasts, and seek out and solicit parts business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assist all customers (retail, wholesale, and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
• Answer phone calls within first three rings, providing price quotes and other information
• Review body shop estimates to be sure parts ordered and pricing are accurate 
• Pull and fill orders from stock
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials which need immediate attention
• Notify the body shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered
• Follow up on back-ordered parts
• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
• Keep current on new products and product updates
• Participate with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program

WHAT YOU NEED

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Valid driver's license
