JOB SUMMARY
Cleans and applies the detailing chemicals to each vehicle. Meets Woodhouse quality and safety expectations along with working at a pace to meet the daily schedule.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Be available in your work area at all times
- Prepare vehicles for detailing by washing, drying, vacuuming and using other cleaning products
- Apply detailing chemicals as instructed in the work procedures
- Inspect each vehicle to assure quality expectations are being met before the vehicle leaves the work area
- Notify the lead or managers of any damage found or caused to a vehicle
- Notify the managers of any employee who is not meeting Woodhouse and Department policies, including breaking any safety policies
- Make recommendations to the managers on ways to improve safety, quality, delivery or cost
- Assist with training new employees as needed
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the chemicals used and their MSDS properties.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task
GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- Have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, grasp, etc.
