Position: Parts Delivery Driver
**** Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri; 7:30am - 4:00pm

Essential Duties
Safely picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, parts counter sales, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
Delivers parts to designated locations when needed and distributes them to appropriate wholesale account representatives or technicians.
Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups, and requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.
Processes returns and ensures proper customer credit is received on account.
Unloads, transports, and places parts in proper locations in the warehouse
Maintains accurate inventory by direction of Wholesale Parts Manager
Unload trucks each night. Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling tanks with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
Advises Wholesale Parts Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.
Helps maintain the professional appearance of the Wholesale Parts department.
Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
Answer the phone to address questions, concerns or assist internal or external customers.
Maintains a professional appearance.
Maintains a positive attitude.
Safely operates a wave machine, forklift, and stock chaser to transport and stock parts.
Follows established organizational procedures and health and safety policies.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
1-2 years of delivery driver experience preferred, but not required.
Valid driver's license & acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
High School diploma or equivalent
Some knowledge of the automotive industry
Good communicator, presentable and friendly customer service
Strong organizational skills and time management
