WOODLAWN CEMETERY is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative assistant for a Mid Level office position.
SKILL SETS DESIRED:
Decision-making: Administrative Assistant to make independent decisions on a daily basis
Communications and collaboration: Administrative Assistant must collaborate with other administrators
Organization Skills: Administrative Assistant must know how to determine which tasks are the most important
Writing: Spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and writing skills are essential.
Computer/Data Entry: A command of data entry software for programs related to sales, revenues, and expenses are critical
Accounting Skills: A fundamental background of Financial Statements and Journal Entries associated therewith are desired
Education: College Graduate is desired.
Prior Experience: Cemetery office management is preferred, however, it is not required.
JOB DUTIES:
Answer Phones, Greet Visitors, and Coordinate scheduling of cemetery services;
Assist with data entry for sales of cemetery products and services for respective journal entries:
Assist with preparation of cemetery contracts and documents.
Front counter interaction with the public, and maintain calendars of services.
Facilitate communications between families and funeral service providers.
OFFICE HOURS: 8:30-4:30, M-F, and every 3rd Saturday, 8:30-12:30
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Salary range commensurate with Skill Sets: ($50,000.00 - $60,000.00)
