Contract Type: 6-month contract with a 6-month extension period
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded
Location: 4500 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX
Requirements:
* Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship
* Previous carpentry experience and knowledge in the construction field
* OSHA certification
* Creativity and design skills
* Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws, and nail guns
* Reliable transportation to and from work
* An associate degree or an apprenticeship in carpentry (preferred)
* Joinery or cabinet-making skills (preferred)
* Knowledge of building regulations and codes (preferred)
* Previous experience with the VA is a plus
