Worcester RISE for Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities: • Optimize Revenue Cycle Management • Review and verify the accuracy of billing data and revise any errors. • Generate and submit medical claims to insurance companies. • Follow up on unpaid claims within the standard billing cycle timeframe. • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues. • Advise providers on ways to optimize billing Qualifications: • Commitment to the mission of the organization • Billing Experience • Proficiency in medical billing software • Attention to Detail and excellent organizational skills • Excellent communication skills • US Work Authorization • 18 years or older • Microsoft Office Skills (Determined by an Assessment) Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
