Worcester RISE for Health is a new non-profit group practice focused on serving newly arriving refugees and immigrants. We are seeking someone who identifies with our mission and is excited to bring their skills to make an impact. The position is a part-time position with a competitive hourly salary of $20-$22. Responsibilities: • Optimize Revenue Cycle Management • Review and verify the accuracy of billing data and revise any errors. • Generate and submit medical claims to insurance companies. • Follow up on unpaid claims within the standard billing cycle timeframe. • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues. • Advise providers on ways to optimize billing Qualifications: • Commitment to the mission of the organization • Billing Experience • Proficiency in medical billing software • Attention to Detail and excellent organizational skills • Excellent communication skills • US Work Authorization • 18 years or older • Microsoft Office Skills (Determined by an Assessment) Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
