    Job Title: Word Processor (Legal Document Services Specialist)
    Location: Century City, CA
    Job Type: Temporary-to-Hire
    Pay: $35–$40/hr

    Overview:
    A prestigious law firm in Century City is seeking a highly skilled Word Processor to join their team on a temporary-to-hire basis. This role supports attorneys and staff with document production, formatting, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create, edit, and format legal documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations
    • Generate tables of contents and tables of authorities
    • Prepare and submit e-filings and chambers copies
    • Perform basic paralegal tasks such as binder creation and document binding
    • Convert and clean up corrupted documents
    • Handle switchboard and reception duties after hours
    • Coordinate with outside vendors (e.g., copy and messenger services)
    • Support ad hoc administrative and document-related projects

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
    • Experience with legal software such as iManage, Workshare Compare, Best Authority, Concordance, PACER, Westlaw, and Lexis
    • Strong communication and client service skills
    • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt quickly to new technologies and procedures
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
    • Previous experience in a legal or document services environment preferred
