WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AT WORK TRUCK SOLUTIONS:

• You'll be working on a development team of 4-5 developers, in an Agile development environment, on sprints that typically last 2 - 3 weeks.
• You'll be writing code, doing developer testing/verification, and doing peer code reviews
• You'll help finalize the concepts, specs and architecture of our rapidly evolving platform

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build high quality, secure, and performant software according to specifications and timeframes while still raising questions and clarifying early as needed
• Follow established coding standards and best practices and write readable, maintainable code
• Communicate effectively with a distributed team, raising issues and concerns promptly

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Computer Science or related technical degree, or demonstrable equivalent expertise.
• Strong web development skills, including HTML, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, responsive design and related tools & frameworks for all of these.
• Direct experience in the ASP.NET stack, including: C#, ASP.NET MVC, Razor, JQuery, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and the .NET Framework.
• 2+ years of professional Object-Oriented Programming experience, using C#
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize new libraries, tools, and technologies.
• A healthy sense of humor and egoless approach to working with others.
• Experience with eCommerce software, WordPress, PHP, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar tools would be a plus!

OUR TECHNOLOGY

• We use the Microsoft .NET technology stack, core web applications are ASP.NET MVC, using C#, Razor, Javascript, JQuery, LESS/CSS, etc.
• Microsoft SQL Server database, stored procedures, SSRS reports
• Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, Git, Microsoft DevOps for product backlog & sprint management
• Integration with various 3rd-party systems, Google Analytics, etc

The company has been working fully remote since March 2020, and we plan to continue, with the likelihood of adding a shared workspace option in late 2021. At that point there will be periodic opportunities for you to meet face to face with your manager and co-workers.
