    Manager of Facilities

    An organization dedicated to increasing the amount of low income and first generation student college graduates in searching for a Facilities Manager to oversee building maintenance. He or she will be responsible for developing systems and processes to support sites. To achieve this, the Facilities Manager will need to manage contracts, train the operation staff, and collaborate with various vendors. This role will report directly to the VP of Finance.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Manage and coordinate projects for new builds and repairs.

    • Support facilities vendor relationships.

    • Analyze and forecast capital investments like renovations.

    • Be a liaison to address risk management issues and policies.

    • Manage business insurance, risk management, and legal activities.

    • Ensure compliance with codes and regulations.

     

    Skills & Experience Required:

    • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

    • At least 3 years of experience in facilities and risk management.

    • At least 3 years of project management experience.

    • Ability to analyze, interpret, and use data to collaborate, identifying best practices and areas for improvement, to drive results.
