    People and Talent Director

    The People and Talent Director will join the central office team and be responsible for the overall administration, coordination and performance of human resources.. The Director will report to the Chief Operations Officer, and work with leadership staff to structure, plan and direct human resource services. The Director will implement strategies, support recruitment and participate in complex employment matters.

     

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Collaborate in the redesign of human resources data and info systems.

    • Manage compensation frameworks.

    • Manage systems for collecting, monitoring and analyzing key metrics to share.

    • Develop, implement and improve employment policies and programs.

    • Administer human resources training programs.

    • Work with leadership and talent teams to develop and improve recruiting and hiring practices.

    • Consult on performance coaching, counseling, performance improvement strategies, and separations of employment.

    • Consult with and provide guidance on various employment decisions, questions, and matters.

    • Ensure organizational compliance with existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting.

    • Develop and implement communication and feedback systems.

     

    Skills & Experience Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree required in human resources or business organization development.

    • Minimum of five or more years in a leadership role in Human Resources.

    • Prior experience working in Education administration preferred.

    • PHR (Professional of Human Resources) SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification preferred.

    • Bilingual-Spanish verbal and written skills are a plus.
