The Data Director values the fundamental mission of the organization, that all students can meet high academic expectations in the right school environment. As Data Director, you will proactively build this environment through the identification, implementation, and management of technologies. He or she oversees the data infrastructure to drive success of instruction and operations at the organization. The Data Director will be in charge of the measurement portfolio of the organization which includes student assessments, surveys, and priorities. This position will report to the Chief Operating Office and will directly manage a team of Data Specialists.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor system progress and evaluate the effectiveness of organizational priorities.

• Develop vision while managing the processes and resources for integration and automation of data reporting.

• Be a key member of the school leadership team acting as a representative of the school to various stakeholders.

• Be a leader for regular staff development meetings, curating presentations for professional development sessions.

• Embrace feedback from employees and stakeholders to support continuous improvement and build school culture.

Skills & Experience Required:

• BA/BS degree required (mathematics, engineering, education, social science, or related field).

• Prior experience with technology design theory and implementation supporting academic acheivement.

• Vendor engagement success for third party providers to collaborate on various goals.

• Adept at data analysis including collecting, analyzing, and reporting public education findings.

• Familiarity using performance measurement systems including PowerSchool and Kickboard.

• Experience with business intelligence platforms.

• Flexibility to work extended hours.
