    With the expansion and acquisition of new products, the digitization of information systems, and technological change in healthcare organizations, the companies need to have meaningful IT engagements with its customers has increased.

    The HIT Technical Consultant position will align with the new MMS Area sales structure to deliver domain-specific best-practice IT principles and solutions to our customers in the Mid-west Area.

    This newly created role will work with the companies Medication Management Solutions (MMS) Sales Account Executives, Clinical Sales Consultants, and Project Managers to lead technical discussions and provide credible strategies and tactics to our Mid-west health system C-Suite as they evaluate deploying MMS solutions and systems.

    The candidate for this position will reside in the Mid-west Area and must be trained and experienced in the intersection of company products, IT standards, frameworks, and cybersecurity to succeed in this role.

    This position will report directly to the Director, HIT Consulting, to support all company Medication Management Solutions and Systems to healthcare information technology (IT), operation technology (OT), and Business operations (BO)

    Job Description-Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrates comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of healthcare IT, cybersecurity, and company Medication Management Solutions.

    • Collaborates with the companies MMS Mid-west Account Teams in the development of a multi-year enterprise technology strategy for assigned customers

    • Provide tech industry best practice knowledge (strategic consulting) to the Mid-west clients particularly around areas that impact the MMS solutions (Cybersecurity, domain structures, network architecture and troubleshooting, WLAN configuration, infrastructure operations, SW platform licensing)

    • Provide tech industry best practices to internal development teams to ensure solutions are being built to meet current IT industry needs

    • Develop and present to customers a technical roadmap (18-36 months) to support phased build of MMS ecosystem on an annual basis

    • Provide diagram of client as built environment post implementation.

    • Contributes to revenue growth and footprint expansion in strategic targeted accounts through partnership with the Mid-west field sales team

    • Assist in review of technical terms in Master Agreement T&C’s.

    • Assist with on-site demo technical environment

    • Understanding of hospital and healthcare workflow and care paths management

    • Proactively Driving Client IT Sponsorship as part of the ongoing MMS Sales Strategy

    • Proactively Engaging Directly with CXIO Leadership

    • Active Participation in Strategic Internal Discussions Regarding Client Engagement/Direction

    • Engaging Client IT Proactively Throughout the MMS Sales Process

     

    Requirements:

    • Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.

    • MBA is advantageous.

    • Proficiency with IT standards, frameworks and security.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication.

    • Good interpersonal skills.

    • Creative problem-solving skills.

    • Analytical mindset.

    • Good time management and organizational skills.

    • Preferred Certificate: A+, N+, S+, ITIL CISA, CISSP

    • Up to 50% travel required

    • Ability to meet all vendor requirements at assigned customers

    Work-related Required and Experiences:

    • 5 + years of experience in enterprise healthcare technology sales and consulting at senior IT leader level.

    • 5+ years of experience in technical program or operation management.

    • 2+ years of healthcare business development on Key healthcare technology strategies (such as EMR, Data Science, Cloud, DR, Availability OS, etc.)

    • Experience supporting system architecture and execution of tech scope for RFI and RFP process

    Time Coverage and Management:

    • Products support: 25% of the time to spend working with company marketing, engineering, and security team to continue supporting existing business and workflow (Tactical)

    • IT Standards: 50% of the time to engage and support the customers C-suite with their strategies to adoption of new and emerging technology (Strategy)

    • Consulting: 25% of the time to provide product life cycle problem-solving and critical thinking (Governance, Risks, Audit, and BCDR)
