About the Role:
Tekvana Inc is looking for a talented Workday Finance and Reporting specialist to join our growing team in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Financial Management modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
Design and develop custom Workday reports, dashboards, and composite reports to support business decision-making
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
Perform Workday system administration, including business process configuration and security role management
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes within the Workday platform
Troubleshoot and resolve Workday finance and reporting issues, escalating as needed
Participate in Workday upgrades, testing, and the rollout of new features and functionality
Requirements:
8+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management and Workday Reporting
Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, BIRT, and Calculated Fields
Strong understanding of core finance and accounting principles (GL, AP, AR, budgeting)
Experience with Workday business process configuration and security administration
Workday Finance or Reporting certification is a strong plus
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
