This position is located in Costa Mesa, CA, and would require relocation to the Orange County Area

Shah Law Group, P.C. ("SLG") is seeking a full-time plaintiff's Workers' Compensation / Personal Injury Attorney for its Costa Mesa, CA office. At this time, the position is contemplated to be in-person with some hybrid days.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Engaging in Client intake of new cases
• Preparation of settlement demand letters
• Preparation of court complaints and arbitration demands
• Drafting and responding to written discovery
• Taking and defending depositions
• Drafting and responding to legal motions
• Appearing at court hearings
• Drafting mediation briefs and attending mediations
• Engaging in settlement negotiations
• Engaging in Trial and all trial-related work.

Qualifications:

• Candidates are expected to possess at least 2+ years of Workers Compensation / Personal Injury Litigation experience
• Califonia Board Certified
• Taking and defending depositions is a plus but not mandatory for hiring
• Effectively Communicate with Clients and Vendors
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Professional attitude and strong personal ethics

Compensation:

• The salary for this position is between $95,000-$100,000 depending on experience level PLUS up to 20% in commissions on attorneys' fees earned from cases (as the firm is rapidly growing, current attorneys in 2024 have more than doubled their annual salary in commissions).
