With decades of experience, our firm is built on advocacy, integrity, and personalized client service. We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our team.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Florida Workers’ Compensation law. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a busy caseload, handling client communication, and working independently in a fast-paced legal environment. Bilingual Preferred (English and Spanish)
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and file pleadings, motions, and legal documents via the DOAH/JCC e-filing portal
Maintain and organize case files from intake through resolution
Communicate directly with clients to address questions, provide updates, and help guide them through the legal process
Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and other appointments
Prepare case summaries and organize medical records
Assist attorneys with hearing preparation
Track important deadlines and court dates
Liaise with opposing counsel, medical providers, and other parties involved in cases
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal in Florida Workers' Compensation
Full knowledge of JCC/DOAH e-filing system
Familiarity with Florida Workers' Compensation rules and procedures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
