Family-owned staffing agency looking for an experienced recruiter with excellent customer service skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients and customers
- Screens resume/employment applications and select qualified applicants for interviews
- Schedule and conduct interviews
- Makes job offers to candidates and conduct new hire orientation
- Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates including career fairs, online job fairs, etc.
- Communicates essential employment information to spark and maintain the interest of prospective candidates
- Ensure all pre-employment screenings are conducted before the first day of work including criminal background checks, drug tests, pre-employment physical and professional references
- Ensures all onboarding is completed before the first day of work
- Provides reporting and updates to management on hiring status as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous recruiting experience, preferably in a staffing agency
- Excellent customer service skills are a must
- Competence in fostering good relationships clients and customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to synthesize information quickly and efficiently
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple job openings
- Strong capability to follow through on a task or project
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Products
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
