    Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic looking for a new opportunity?

    Repair, install, adjust, or maintain Industrial Forklifts/Trucks and assist with production machinery.

    Schedule: Mon-Fri 7 AM or until work complete (typically 4 PM)

    Pay Rate: $35 (Dependent upon experience)

    Essential Functions:

    • Ensures operation of Industrial Trucks by completing preventive maintenance requirements per manufacturer’s specs and company requirements.
    • Track and log all PM’s and repairs.
    • Schedule PM’s and repairs with Supervisors in different work areas to promote planning and full coverage of Industrial equipment needs.
    • Inventory, order and stock all PM and replacement parts necessary to keep equipment downtime to a minimum.
    • Coordinate and assist with any repairs that require vendor attention. Keep vendor time in check and review invoices to ensure accuracy.
    • Assist the Maintenance team with any PM’s or Repairs in the Plant.
    • Maintain organized tools and work area. Must have typical Mechanics tools. This includes keeping a regular inventory, keeping them clean and using proper tools for the job.
    • Utilize the safest work methods and equipment to keep an accident-free workplace. This will include conducting or assisting in safety meetings, inspections or audits.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:

    • Tools, materials, methods, and practices used with Industrial Trucks and manufacturing equipment; Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience.
    • Understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
    • Operation of power and manual tools.
    • Work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
    • Effectively handle lifting various heavy objects.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees.
    • Follow written and oral instructions
    • Hydraulic Experience
    • Troubleshooting, replacing engines, and transmissions

    Qualifications:

    • Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    Working Conditions:

    Working in a production environment, with ambient air-conditions, loud noise, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting. Chemicals: facility management can review complete inventory of SDS’s prior to offering position
