    Are you a Plant Maintenance Technician and looking for a new opportunity?

    In this position you will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

    Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 am - 4 pm (Overtime and weekend work will be required during heavy production periods)

    Pay Rate: $35/hr. (dependent upon experience)

    Essential Functions:

    • Commitment to Safety.
    • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
    • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
    • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
    • General purpose steel fabrication and welding.
    • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
    • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
    • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
    • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
    • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
    • Detect faulty operations, and defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
    • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:

    • Manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, welding, and industrial skills.
    • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

    Qualifications:

    • Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    Equipment To Be Used:

    • Welders, torches, hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and man lifts.

    Working Conditions:

    Working in a maintenance and production environment, with ambient air conditions, loud noise, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting. Dirty and dusty conditions at times may require respiratory protection. Controlled confined space work and working with chemicals. The facility manager maintains a complete list of SDS’s on-site at all times.
