    Are you ready to make a true impact at a growing biotech company?

    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to play an important role in supporting all aspects of a large government contract for advanced research, development and manufacturing for a new anti-viral therapeutic biodefense medical countermeasure. In this role you will assist in the planning and execution of product development projects while adhering to budget, scope and schedule requirements. You will be central to the success of the projects you support and will interact closely with research and development, manufacturing, business development, and regulatory departments, in addition to vendors, and execute high quality, integrated cross-functional plans for these projects.

    You will perform all activities related to budget, contract, invoices, and billings, help ensure consistent practices throughout all phases of the project life cycle and prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses. As the PM you will apply best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing of all projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with the Program Leadsto maintain program-related documentation (including the project plan, Gantt, decision log, and risk register).

    • Manage project timelines and work with the Program Leads to identify/define resource needs.

    • Manage Project and Alliance Management team operations (planning agendas, scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and following-up with team members on critical action items).

    • Maintain Team Framework (including templates, Smartsheet, and shared folder structure).

    • Track Functional Plans (provided by functional leads sitting on the team).

    • Track progress on development and manufacturing programs, and platform initiatives.

    • Liaise with Legal teams to align and track program and alliance contracts.

    • Manage process for R&D monthly reporting.

    • Prepares monthly invoices.

    • Reports project finance.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences is required. Project Management certification is a plus.

    • A minimum of 5 years of related experience in the Biotech-Pharma industry, including 2-5 years of relevant Project Management experience.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    • Highly motivated and a team player.

    • Ability to manage projects and work with team members in a matrix environment.

    • Strong analytical and technology skills, including proficiency in project planning tools, and content management tools.

    • Understanding of analytical/bioanalytical measurement techniques and methodology.

    • Excellent communication, multitasking, and collaboration skills.

    • Basic accounting, project bookkeeping and US Government contracting experience.
