    Our client is a privately held biotechnology company developing first-in-class therapeutics that target the underlying pathologies of diseases with unmet medical needs The company's lead candidate,  is in development for the treatment of patients with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT). Second-generation therapeutic products are under development for type 1 diabetes and other immune-mediated and inflammatory diseases.

    Job Description

    As an early employee of the organization, the Project Manager will partner with the executive leadership team to manage complex projects from early stage of research and development through clinical manufacturing.

    This position can be home-based.

    Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

    • Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for leading the overall project management activities for the organization
    • Tracking resources, activities and inter-relatedness of complex programs through various of drug development including discovery, optimization, preclinical, regulatory, manufacturing.
    • Direct project communications (internal and external) to ensure that all partners are informed of activates and status
    • Provide input to executive leadership for the budgeting process
    • Manage project team operations (planning agendas, scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and following-up with team members on critical action items)
    • Being the primary point of contact to internal and external stakeholders on all project matters

    Qualifications

    • College/University degree in Life Sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience
    • 4+ years of experience with demonstrated project management/coordination experience.
    • Scientific background and project management experience in drug development
    • Experience with project management tools
    • Communication, presentation and customer-service skills
    • Trust, dependability, discipline and the self-fortitude
    • Ability to negotiate and build relationships at all levels
    • Team-building, resource allocation and organizational skills
