We are hiring a downstream process development scientist to work for a clinical-stage biotechnology company working on immunotherapies for patients with cancer and other diseases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform purification of proteins using AKTA to support in vivo studies.

• Process development for protein clinical candidates.

• Support the development of AlphaLISA based potency assays.

• Perform characterization of proteins using Biacore and ELISA based methods.

• Independently analyze data, present results, and conclusions to the team.

• Be innovative and implement novel methods for protein purification and characterization.

Skills and Experience:

• BS with 5+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 3+ years of experience, Ph.D. with a Postdoc or Industry experience.

• Experience with the following: Protein purification using AKTA systems, Biacore, ELISAs, designing and executing experiments.

• Understanding of downstream process development

• Good understanding of protein structure and function

• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to the changing needs of the organization.

• Ability to work independently.

• Effective collaboration and strong problem-solving skills.
