Our client, a leader in discovering and developing innovate antibody-based therapeutics, is seeking an experience SCIENTIST III. In this role, you will contribute to the biological characterization of the Company’s antibody-based oncology product candidates including both pre-clinical and clinical stage programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES:
- Biological characterization of antibody-based therapeutics including multi-specifics. Data will be used to support lead molecule selection, IND and regulatory filings, and guide therapeutic opportunity in clinical setting.
- Implement and execute immune based assays to characterize mechanism of activation (MoA) and potential combinatorial activity both within and between antibody-based molecules and/or other therapeutic modalities.
- Apply state of the art of molecular and cellular technologies (inc multi-parameter flow cytometry and NGS) to characterize immune mediated tumor mechanisms Leverage research expertise in fields of innate and adaptive immunity in the tumor microenvironment (eg T-cell biology, TCR signaling, Tregs, MDSCs, TAMs) to discover and dissect novel therapeutic intervention strategies.
- Participate in multi-functional teams responsible for antibody-based molecules ranging in development stage from early research through clinical development.
- Provide day-to-day management of direct reports, guiding experimental planning and trouble-shooting, data interpretation and assembly.
- Coach, mentor and manage people for performance and scientific growth.
- Draft manuscripts and nonclinical sections for regulatory submission.
- Provide external visibility through participation in scientific meetings and symposia.
