    Work with a startup that is out to generate some buzz in the scientific industry by mobilizing talent and democratizing access to careers through our proprietary AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, augmented reality technology and media platform, built on the foundation of Quantum Computing and a bunch of other buzz words.

    Ok, so 1 or 2 of those technologies will apply here at BioBuzz Media, but what’s most important is that we are on a mission to create exceptional experiences that better connect great people and companies in the life science industry and help companies meet the crazy demand for talent that is being experienced across the industry.

    To do that we need some super-smart people like you, who want to tackle some big growth marketing challenges with us.

    One of those challenges is working with our Head of Marketing and BD to develop and enhance our digital marketing strategies to better engage and grow our audience by converting them to our platform.

    You’d be great in this internship if you have a passion and educational or experiential foundation in digital marketing, advertising, growth hacking, social media, or e-commerce…. AND… you’re super tech-savvy… AND you are a problem solver who likes to push the limits of what you can do.

    As an intern, you will be given several projects and achievable goals and work with the existing Biobuzz Media team to accomplish them. Your overarching mission during the internship will be to help grow our brand and convert more users.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Deeply understand our user personas (B2C & B2B), their pains and gains; what brings them to our platform, our events or our jobs.

    • execute a strategy to get users to become TRIBE members, leveraging growth psychology and best practices.

    • Help design and execute marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives end-to-end (acquisition, activation, retention, loyalty): identify opportunities, prioritize projects, design experiments, develop campaign strategy, oversee execution and analyze results.

    • You will also help initiatives to launch our new talent community platform.

    • The end goal at the end of the summer is to have several marketing campaigns under your belt that you can present the results to the team and the impact they have had on our business.

    • Technically savvy, detail-oriented, organized type of person.

    • Fearless creativity and a can-do attitude

    • Clear and effective communication

    • A driven, initiative, self-starter personality

    • Marketing platform experience with top social platforms, Hubspot or other marketing automation and CRM platforms.

    • Experience with Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn advertising

    • Experience building landing pages and writing sales copy is a plus

    • Experience with programming or web development is a plus

    Upon completion of your internship you will:

    • Complete a presentation to the team on the work you did during your internship, your goals and the results you achieved for this project.

    • Have acquired an incredible set of new experiences and skills that will set you up for any future employer you seek, should you actually want to leave us at that time.

    • Be unforgettable and hard for us to live without.

    As an intern at WGx you will primarily work remotely and be required to meet weekly or bi-weekly with the team for planning, feedback, and mentorship. The internship will require 20-40 hours/week for up to 180 hours, with the option to extend beyond that. This is a paid internship.
