We're seeking a WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN that will act as a key contributor for a biotech startup that is rapidly advancing to clinical stage. This position will function as a “hybrid” to accommodate our current needs as a growing company. In this role, you'll receive lab materials in both an R&D and GMP environment, independently operate in a GMP materials management function, manage inventory, handle all shipping requests and function as the point of contact for the building’s laboratory materials needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for accepting all deliveries in the receiving area and interfacing with drivers/carriers.
- Deliver daily receivables to end users.
- Escort drivers delivering equipment to final destinations.
- Responsible for preparing requisitions for general support items and lab supplies.
- Receive material into both R&D and /or GMP Quarantine status.
- Manage both R&D and GMP warehouse inventory.
- Update electronic inventory system.
- Ensure all received goods are stored in proper inventory. locations, both physically and electronically.
- Process all receiving paperwork.
- Coordinate Shipping international and domestic packages.
- Functioning as a resource for our subtenant(s).
- Assist management with equipment PM’s.
- Other duties as assigned.__
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- GMP trained
- Minimum of 3-5 years of materials management in Biotech industry under GMP conditions
- Good computer skills, excellent knowledge of Microsoft especially Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, contractors, and vendors
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written policies, programs and SOP’s
