    Our client is a global leader in developing gene therapies that have the potential to transform how diseases are treated and cured.  As one of the fastest-growing biotech companies in Maryland, they are in need of a strong life science recruiter / sourcer to join their Talent Acquisition team to help them meet the demand for talent.

    It's an exciting time to be part of this company!  They have advanced their proprietary AAV technology platform and have a strong clinical pipeline that is moving forward, as well as several collaboration agreements with large biopharma companies such as Novartis.  Because of their licensed technology that recently received a landmark FDA approval, they will soon be one of only four companies in the world that are expecting to see revenue from commercial gene therapy products by next year.

    As the contract recruiter, you will work alongside the HRBP's to help attract, source and screen candidates for open positions.  Though the preference is for you to be on-site with the team, there is flexibility for you to telecommute part of the time.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • You will work in partnership with the HRBP, the Contract Recruiter will be responsible for up to 10 recruitment positions
    • Your main responsibility will be to source for candidates in the areas of R&D, Clinical Operations and Clinical Development, but you may also support other areas.
    • You will work closely with your candidates to attract them to the company and manage the full life cycle of the recruitment process, and as such should understand our culture and values and act as an extension of company's employer brand.
    • You may also be asked to assist with scheduling interviews, posting jobs, and other recruitment activity in order to progress the

     

    Requirements:

    • You have experience managing full life-cycle recruitment for life science positions as part of a talent acquisition team or at an agency.
    • You have experience effectively using applicant tracking systems to manage and track your job postings and recruitment activity.
    • You have experience using creative sourcing and recruitment marketing strategies to identify, source and attract top talent.
    • You have a track record of partnering with HRBP's and Hiring Managers to achieve successful placements and efficient hiring processes.

    This is a one year contract with the opportunity to be extended or converted.  If the contract is not extended or converted, Workforce Genetics will guarantee your salary until we can either place you at a new client in another contract, or a permanent role.
