We are hiring for a Project Manager (level and title dependent on experience) to report into the CEO at a growing biotech on a mission to bring new hope to cancer patients around the world. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a team of seasoned biotech executives and play an important role in the company’s success story.

    Our client is a cell therapy company focused on the development and commercialization of novel cancer immunotherapy products that target and kill cancer cells. The company is well funded by some of the top venture capital firms and investors in the world and is preparing for accelerated growth as they enter the clinic this year. Timing is right to join this 30 person company on the ground floor.

    The Project Manager will manage multiple programs spread out across the full spectrum of drug development with programs in discovery, optimization, preclinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and clinical stages. Manufacturing activities are multi-faceted with parallel activities at multiple sites making three different components (cells, proteins, viruses).

    Responsibilities:

    • Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading the overall project management strategy for the organization
    • Tracking resources, activities and inter-relatedness of complex programs through all stages of drug development
    • Define scope, build project plans, goals and achievements
    • Serve as the facilitator across multiple technical teams (discovery, optimization, preclinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and clinical stages)
    • Track and report progress
    • Direct project communications (internal and external) to ensure that all partners are informed of activates and status
    • Provide input to executive leadership for the budgeting process
    • Manage Project team operations (planning agendas, scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and following-up with team members on critical action items).

    Requirements:

    • A Bachelors or Masters degree in a relative scientific field is required.
    • Scientific background and extensive project management experience in biologics and/or cell therapy drug development
    • You will excel in this role if you have great written and verbal communication skills
    • Your ability to multitask and be disciplined with your time management will be critical to your success.
