    Are you a detail-oriented, technically-minded professional who is looking for an opportunity to make a real impact with a rapidly growing biotech organization? We are hiring a Bioinformatics Associate to support the Director of Product Development for a growing company that is innovating the way health care professionals are treating bacterial infections that have multidrug resistance.

    Our client is a clinical stage company founded to provide an effective therapeutic response to the rise of multi-drug resistant pathogenic bacteria. Their technology has already been shown to be effective and has received attention for several dramatic case studies by some of the top media outlets in the world. 

    Responsibilities:

    • The candidate will perform project coordination tasks as a member of the data management team.

    • In the process of performing this work, the candidate will communicate extensively with exploratory biomarker data managers, scientists, research associates, operations managers, clinical data managers, analysts and vendor representatives.

    • Coordination with internal stakeholders and external business partners.

    • Working with data management colleagues to distribute data transfer requests, monitor processing queues and contribute to workflow improvements.

    • Working with scientists and informatics colleagues to inventory, store and catalog available biomarker data for prioritized projects and studies.

    • Registering metadata about biomarker data assets in internal systems and databases.

    • Maintaining content of internal knowledge sharing and documentation repositories.

    • Management of permissions and access for data stored on internal file systems.

    Skills:

    • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and problem solving

    • Administrative or project management experience in research or product development settings

    • Experience interacting with scientific stakeholders

    • Familiarity working in a Linux environment

    • Careful, detail-oriented working style Initiative in suggesting and executing process improvements

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in a Life Science or Computing Field with at least three years of experience OR a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics with relevant academic experience.
