Summary:Administer and monitor auto, general liability, and workers compensation processes to include claims management, reporting, and data gathering.Essential Functions may include, but are not limited to:
- Review incident reports and gather necessary information to file and respond to general liability, auto, and work injury/illness claims.
- Evaluate incidents to determine suitability for reporting through claims management system.
- Enter information into claims management system and utilize system to manage cases and generate reports.
- Monitor and review medical, legal, and relevant information related to claims.
- Serve as point of contact with insurance and legal representatives.
- Respond to interrogatories, requests for production, and other matters related to litigation.
- Coordinate internal and external partners to establish and execute action plans relevant to claimsresolution.
- Monitor and report on settlement actions.
- Identify and escalate issues to resolution.
- Intake and process First Report of Injury.
- Request and review injured worker medical status reports; provide wage statements and other documentation related to work injury claims.
- Facilitate the return to work and ADA interactive processes to include maintaining communication with affected employees and managers.
- Prepare reports detailing claims, payments, and reserves.
- Facilitate periodic claims reviews.
- Develop, maintain, and report ROI and actionable metrics for Human Resources and Safety.
- Review, evaluate, and analyze general liability, auto, and worker incidents to recommend practices and procedures aimed at controlling and / or preventing occupational injuries and illnesses and property damage.Required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, or a combination of formal education and significant litigation support or liability and claims processing experience.
- At least one year of experience in a position in which a primary function involved managing data.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledgeable of liability and worker's compensation claims processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with theADA interactive process.
- Experience handling interrogatories, requests for production, and other litigation matters.
