CAM serves clients who come in for emergency services such as food, clothing and financial assistance. 

This induvial will assist CAM Warehouse Lead in receiving, storing and processing inventory.  This individual would interact with clients, businesses, donors and volunteers to help us deliver our services.   

JOB DUTIES:

• Assist in the pick-ups, such as, HEB, River City Produce, Costco, etc.
• Assist in the packing and distribution of lunches
• Receive general food from Food Bank for DT and De Zavala
• Receive Bread from Food Bank
• Assist the sorting of donated items, emptying drop boxed, placement of said items for use in pantry or storage in warehouse
• Maintain grounds and parking lot in good order
• Learn and utilize warehouse equipment, such as, pallet jack and lift on box truck
• Assist in the receiving of donations
• Assist in the receiving of purchased product
• Learn and adhere to FIFO: First In First Out for product
• help to keep our clothing and food pantries up and running
• Assist in inventory process for donations
• Assist in sorting and stocking food for the food pantry
• Assist in sorting and stocking of clothing pantries
• Assist in cleaning, such as sweeping and mopping, of client service building and warehouse
• Other duties as assigned (working in the client services area to fill in a gap, helping with large mail outs etc.)

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES FOR THIS POSITION WILL TYPICALLY DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS OR THEIR EQUIVALENT:

• Possess good communications skills
• Able to lift 40 lbs
• Able to work in hot and cold environments
• Organized and detailed
• Some computer skills
• Team player
• Must have a desire to help people and serve and understand that CAM services are a serious business and respect and obedience to rules and staff are key to successful employment
