Newtown Bagel Co is looking for an energetic and passionate Restaurant Manager / Shift Lead to join our team in Newtown, PA! Responsibilities:

Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth, efficient shift performance

Lead, motivate, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house team members

Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation

Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care

Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and end-of-shift reporting

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed

Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations

Train and onboard new team members to uphold Newtown Bagel Co standards

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in restaurant management, shift leadership, or a supervisory role

Strong leadership and team-building skills in a fast-paced food service environment

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and basic reporting

Knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification (preferred)

Ability to work early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed

Reliable, punctual, and able to lead by example on the floor
