    Job Description

    Business Development Manager: Digital Sales and Sponsorships - Part Time   

    Workology is looking for a talented and competitive Business Development Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment working for a scrappy startup and small business environment. This part-time position can be remote working from home or via our Austin, TX offices. 

    Include:

    • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
    • Understanding customer needs and requirements
    • Closing opportunities for digital sponsorships for B2B clients in the human resources and recruitment industry 
    • Part-time membership to Austin, TX coworking and shared office, Duo Works

    We are looking for a talented and competitive Business Development Manager that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment selling our sponsorships and lead generation products for companies in human resources, recruitment, and hiring. 

    What does a Business Development Manager do?  

    A Business Development Manager will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, following up on emails and prospects, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales for digital sponsorships and events. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
    • Understand customer needs and requirements
    • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
    • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
    • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory 
    • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
    • Perform effective online demos to prospects

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven inside sales experience
    • Track record of over-achieving quota
    • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls and qualified emails per day
    • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
    • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Strong listening and presentation skills
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Experience working in HR and recruiting as a sales professional or partnership position is preferred

     

    This position is a part-time contract position offering flexibility and opportunity to grow with the organization. Draw plus commission plan.
