Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Workplace Operations Intern to support our headquarters in Redwood City. This role will play a critical part in maintaining a smooth, engaging, and efficient workplace experience, while also serving as a key contributor to the company's upcoming office relocation.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to People Operations functions, including workplace improvement, and large-scale office project management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and is excited to take ownership of impactful initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Office Operations:
- Provide on-site support for daily office operations by greeting visitors, managing incoming communications, and supporting overall front office experience
- Ensure the office remains organized, functional, and welcoming for employees and guests
- Contribute to projects that enhance workplace experience and employee engagement
Relocation Project:
- Assist in the end-to-end execution of our office move to Menlo Park
- Coordinate logistics including packing, inventory tracking, vendor scheduling, and moving operations
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, IT, Operations, and Leadership to ensure a seamless transition
- Help troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly during all phases of the relocation
Employee Engagement & Events:
- Support the planning and execution of company on-site lunches, events, and team gatherings
- Assist with logistics such as vendor/catering scheduling, setup, and on-site coordination
Policies & Compliance
- Help communicate and uphold office policies, safety protocols, and security procedures
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and maintain a safe work environment

- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on startup environment
- Resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Must be able to work on-site daily in Redwood City (and Menlo Park during/after the move) and meet attendance expectations
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Interest in People Operations, Workplace Experience, or Operations
- Previous internship or experience in office coordination, event planning, or administrative support
- Interest or experience in project management or large-scale operational initiatives

The pay range for this position is $25-30 per hour. Pay varies subject to applicant's relevant experience.
