    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Worksighted is looking for a HUMAN RESOURCE COORDINATOR to join our growing team in Holland, MI. In this newly created role, the HR Coordinator will report directly to the Director of HR and provide administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry for both Worksighted locations (Holland and Wixom). This position resolves benefits-related problems, ensures positive employee relations and is part of the recruiting process.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Maintains confidential and personnel files and personnel actions.
    • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
    • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, periodically audits Forms I-9.
    • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Director of HR.
    • Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Assists with new-employee orientation and on-boarding.  Prepares new employee files.
    • Assists with recruitment and interview process.  Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow up letters at the end of the hiring process.
    • Assists with benefits administration for new employees, live events and open enrollment.
    • Manages internal event organization and coordination, including service projects, recreational events, and training activities.
    • Supports the scheduling of HR department activities (monthly department meetings, annual meetings, employee events, etc.)
    • Responds to reference checks, verifications of employment and coordinates checks for pre-employment testing.
    • Acts as an employee relations specialist and coordinates employee recognition programs.
    • Assists with department projects and initiatives.
    • Makes copies; mails, scans and emails documents; answers incoming HR calls and performs other clerical functions.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1-2 years' experience in a Human Resource role.
    • Associates Degree in business or related field.  BS/BA Degree preferred.
